Origins of AAA Scholarship Foundation: The roots of AAA Scholarship Foundation can be traced back to 2002 when its core team initiated their collaboration within the Florida School Choice movement. Their initial goal was to oversee the administration of the Florida Tax Scholarship Program, which aimed to provide educational opportunities to students from diverse backgrounds.
Formation and Expansion in Georgia: In 2010, the AAA Scholarship Foundation was officially established. Its primary focus was to manage scholarships in Georgia, particularly targeting low and middle-income families. Notably, the foundation set forth rigorous accountability standards beyond legal requirements to ensure scholarship recipients received a high-quality education.
Expansion into Arizona: Two years later, in 2012, the AAA Scholarship Foundation extended its services to Arizona. Here, it introduced Corporate Tax Credit Scholarships for low and middle-income families, again emphasizing stringent accountability measures to uphold educational standards.
Growth into Alabama and Pennsylvania: Continuing its expansion, AAA Scholarship Foundation reached out to Alabama and Pennsylvania in 2013. These efforts aimed to extend the foundation’s commitment to delivering high levels of accountability and support to families in need within these states.
Fostering Educational Access in Florida: The year 2014 marked another milestone for AAA Scholarship Foundation as it continued to expand its reach in Florida. The foundation remained dedicated to ensuring that access to quality education was not determined by a family’s residential zip code, thereby promoting a philosophy of equal educational opportunities for all.
Pioneering Scholarship Administration in Nevada: In 2015, AAA Scholarship Foundation achieved recognition for pioneering scholarship administration for low-income families in Nevada. This endeavor further exemplified the foundation’s commitment to broadening access to quality education in diverse regions.
